Eurovent CLIMA X three-layer roof membrane, reinforced with PE mesh, has a variable Sd coefficient. Made of a layer of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, a special functional film, and PE mesh. The functional film allows small amounts of water vapor to migrate from the interior of the building towards the attic and, if necessary, from the attic to the interior, which gives the product its so-called vapor barrier activity. The Eurovent® CLIMA X vapor barrier membrane has been certified by the Passiv House Institute in the phA tightness class. It is used in residential and industrial construction, as well as in frame buildings, as a vapor barrier layer protecting the attic from excess moisture from inside the room entering the thermal insulation. It is used in roof and wall structures. Thanks to its active properties, it prevents, among other things, the “plastic bag” effect, i.e., the formation of fungi and mold in the attic as a result of excess moisture.
